Hai Duong to plant 63,000 hectares of rice and vegetables in the 2024-2025 winter-spring crop
In the 2024-2025 winter-spring crop, Hai Duong plans to plant 63,000 hectares, including 53,000 hectares of rice and 10,000 hectares of vegetables.
Winter-spring rice yield in Hai Duong is estimated at 58-60 quintals/ha.
After visiting the fields, the interdisciplinary inspection team estimated that the yield of this year's winter-spring rice crop in Hai Duong is estimated to reach 58-60 quintals/ha.
Hai Duong farmers finish harvesting winter-spring rice before June 20
As of June 17, Hai Duong farmers had harvested more than 47,700 hectares of winter-spring rice, reaching nearly 90% of the province's total area, equivalent to the same period last year.
"Golden season" in An Lam field (Nam Sach)
Farmers in An Lam commune, Nam Sach district (Hai Duong) are busy harvesting the winter-spring rice crop. This season, farmers are excited because of the high rice yield.
