Improve the effectiveness of inspections and supervision

Comrade Vu Hong Hien, Standing Committee Member, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, delivered a concluding speech at the conference on deploying inspection and supervision tasks in the last months of the year.

On the afternoon of July 25, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission (PCI) organized the implementation of the Party's inspection and supervision tasks from now until the end of the year.

Concluding the conference, comrade Vu Hong Hien, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, requested the Inspection Commissions at all levels to focus on directing and implementing 10 key tasks, including focusing on propaganda work; improving the actual effectiveness of inspection and supervision activities; proactively completing the inspection and supervision program early, not leaving it until the end of the year, not extending the deadline to next year.

Inspection Committees at all levels need to focus on performing the tasks of verifying assets and income, receiving and handling petitions, complaints and denunciations. Strengthening direction, guidance, inspection and supervision of Party committees, Party organizations and lower-level Inspection Committees on inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement within the Party.

In the first 6 months of 2023, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission advised on the implementation of 6 inspections and supervisions and completed 3 of them. Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province disciplined 67 party members, including 15 party members at the grassroots level, 49 party members at the district level, 3 party members at the provincial level and 3 party organizations at the district level. The main violations were violations of what party members are not allowed to do; violations of moral qualities and lifestyle; lack of responsibility and lax management; violations of criminal law, population and family planning policies, etc.
