According to Michelin Guide representative,The anonymous judges have begun their evaluation journey. “We are very proud to be able to announce the selected list of dining establishments to Vietnamese gourmets, along with the international travel community and culinary enthusiasts in June,” said Mr. Gwendal Poullennec.
As a globally recognized tourist destination, Da Nang is considered a “paradise” for those who love to eat. The culinary center representing the cultural quintessence of the Central region has deeply impressed the anonymous reviewers of the Michelin Guide with its excellent food quality and rich culinary heritage, from Quang noodles, fish cake noodles, famous banh xeo, countless fresh seafood dishes at restaurants to unique street food stalls that cannot be missed. The reviewers were delighted to sit on the roadside and enjoy the culinary “gems”, such as a bowl of duck porridge.
In addition to the familiar specialties and street food, Da Nang also offers diners an attractive high-class cuisine with diverse cooking methods. The dishes are prepared by local master chefs, who are familiar with creating regional ingredients.
The Michelin Guide Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang 2024 restaurant list will be announced at a special event this coming June.
Similar to previous destinations, Michelin Guide will rate restaurants in Da Nang according to the long-standing method that has been applied consistently worldwide.
Specifically, the restaurants and delicious dishes are evaluated by the anonymous Michelin Guide Vietnam review team according to 5 criteria, all focusing on the quality of the dishes: Quality of ingredients used; Cooking skills; Harmony of flavors; The chef's personality expressed through the dishes; Consistency of dishes over time and across the entire menu.
