The principal of Le Hong Kindergarten (Thanh Mien) received a fake call from Lieutenant Colonel Vu Khac Hoi, Chief of Police of this district, asking for personal information.
On the morning of December 14, Ms. D., Principal of Le Hong Commune Kindergarten (Thanh Mien) received a phone call from a stranger, phone number 0942.706.xxx. This person identified himself as Lieutenant Colonel Vu Khac Hoi, Chief of Thanh Mien District Police, who was working with leaders of Thanh Mien District, leaders of Le Hong Commune and officers of the Department of Information and Communications. This person said that Ms. D. used her personal phone number and bank account number to commit fraud and appropriate property. Thanh Mien District Police confirmed that Lieutenant Colonel Vu Khac Hoi, Chief of District Police, did not make the above-mentioned call. This is an act of impersonation and possibly a scam to steal information and property of others. Currently, the District Police are investigating to clarify the matter.
