According to the Management Board of Cam Giang District Relics (Hai Duong), becoming a provincial-level tourist area is one reason for the increase in the number of visitors to Mao Dien Temple of Literature.
From December 6 to 15, Mao Dien Temple of Literature welcomed 5,000 visitors, an increase of nearly 2,000 visitors compared to the previous week. The number of visitors concentrated on weekends. December 8 had the highest number of visitors with nearly 2,000 people coming to visit and worship.
From January 1 to December 15, the total number of visitors to Mao Dien Temple of Literature was about 30,000, an increase of 20,000 compared to the same period in 2023.
Visitors here are mainly students, parents and teachers from schools in and outside the province. In addition, there are some foreign delegations from Australia, Japan, China and Laos.
The number of visitors has increased because Mao Dien Temple of Literature has just been recognized as a provincial-level tourist site by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province.
