Many special activities at the Traditional Festival of Xua Temple and Mao Dien Temple of Literature

The traditional festival of Xua Temple takes place from March 22-24 (February 13-15 of the lunar calendar). In addition to the ceremonies, the festival program also includes folk games, Quan Ho singing under the lake at the Xua Temple relic site; cultural exchange between the Cheo singing and folk singing clubs of Cam Giang district and the art troupes of 3 villages of Cam Vu commune; calligraphy exhibition, pulse taking and prescription, health consultation for the people...

The Mao Dien Temple of Literature Traditional Festival and the Giap Thin Spring Book Festival will take place from March 23-27 (February 14-18 of the lunar calendar). The opening ceremony will take place from 7:30 a.m. on March 24.

In addition to the ceremony, within the framework of the festival, there will be a book exhibition with the topics "Mao Dien Temple of Literature past and present", "The life and career of Saint Confucius and the great scholars worshiped at the relic", "Hai Duong Town Examination School in Mao Dien"; book exhibition; Sino-Vietnamese calligraphy exhibition of provincial calligraphers; organizing the "Beautiful Writing" contest, the "Golden Bell" contest, exchange activities, health care performances, human chess competitions and some folk games such as: walking on the bridge, blindfolded duck catching, tug of war; art performances...

There are also orchid displays organized by the Mao Dien Temple of Literature Orchid Club; booths introducing and promoting OCOP products of Cam Giang district.
