The victim was NDH, 16 years old, in Dai Son commune, Tu Ky (Hai Duong).
Authorities search for NDH in Bai Neo area, Dai Son commune
According to initial information from Dai Son Commune Police (Tu Ky), at around 3:30 p.m. on May 26, 3 students from Nghia Xa village, Dai Son commune invited each other to go to Neo beach, in Lieu Xa village (same commune) to swim.
Due to high tide, NDH (born in 2007, in Nghia Xa village) unfortunately drowned and died. At 6:15 p.m. the same day, the search team found NDH's body.
At Neo Beach, the local government has put up warning signs, strictly prohibiting people from freely swimming, but many children and adults from Dai Son Commune and neighboring communes still come to swim. On hot days, hundreds of people come here to swim.
In the past 5 months, in Tu Ky district, there have been 4 drowning incidents that resulted in 4 deaths.
