According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Tu Ky district (Hai Duong), currently there are 2 communes of the district, Quang Phuc and Binh Lang, implementing the model of installing surveillance cameras at the concentrated household waste landfill.
Quang Phuc commune has implemented the model for 2 years. Binh Lang commune has implemented it since March 2025, with funding from the commune budget.
After installing cameras at the landfill, the commune assigned the professional staff and the commune police force to monitor and track to detect and handle illegal dumping and burning of waste at the landfill.
Quang Phuc and Binh Lang communes have prioritized funding to renovate, level, and clean up local landfills, spray chemicals to protect the environment, and at the same time promote propaganda, mobilization, and raise awareness among people.
According to the assessment of the representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Tu Ky district, the model in Quang Phuc commune has been implemented for a period of time and has shown to be effective, limiting the situation of garbage burning and environmental pollution.
