Many people who have completed their prison terms in Tu Ky have been able to borrow more than 2 billion VND from the Social Policy Bank Transaction Office, district branch, to develop production and business.

From 2023 to present, from the Transaction Office The Social Policy Bank, Tu Ky District Branch, has disbursed more than VND2 billion to 21 people who have completed their prison terms in the communes of Binh Lang, Chi Minh, Dai Hop, Ha Thanh, Minh Duc... to borrow to develop production, business, and stabilize their lives. Among them, one person borrowed VND80 million, the rest borrowed VND100 million each.
According to police records, the above-mentioned borrowers committed crimes such as gambling, fighting, intentionally damaging property... but when assessed, they all met the criteria set by the bank.
The leader of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank, Tu Ky District Branch, said that the borrowers were working in the fields of transporting goods by car, raising fish, growing fruit trees, trading seafood, and running motels. Through inspection, the borrowers all used the loan for the right purpose, worked hard, complied with the laws and local regulations, and initially brought about economic efficiency and stabilized their lives.
Lending to people who have completed their prison terms is a humane policy of the State, according to Decision No. 22/2023/QD-TTg dated August 17, 2023 of the Prime Minister.
Along with Chi Linh City, Kinh Mon Town... Tu Ky is one of the localities with many customers under Decision 22 and large disbursed capital.
