Another abandoned baby in Kim Thanh

The health of the abandoned baby in Phuc Thanh commune is now stable and has been handed over to local people for care.

The baby is currently being cared for by a family in Duong Thai Trung village.

Previously, at 9:40 p.m. on January 5, residents of Duong Thai Trung village discovered an abandoned newborn baby on the side of the road in a new plot of land in the village. After verification and inspection, Phuc Thanh Commune Health Station determined that the abandoned baby was female, about 2 days old, weighing about 4 kg, with the umbilical cord still intact, in a plastic basket, without papers or property; in stable health, without any deformities.

The People's Committee of Phuc Thanh Commune has notified the parents of the child or those who know who the parents are to contact the People's Committee, the Commune Health Station, and the Police of Phuc Thanh Commune. Within 15 days from the date of the announcement, if the parents of the child are unknown, the authorities will handle the matter according to the provisions of law.

Previously, on the morning of January 5, in Dai Duc commune (same district as Kim Thanh), a baby about 3 months old was also abandoned in Long Khe village.
