From the end of 2020 to now, Kim Thanh district has invested nearly 140 billion VND to build 101 classrooms, 2 administrative buildings, 5 multi-purpose buildings, 3 swimming pools and other auxiliary works, increasing the rate of solid classrooms in the district from 90% to 97.6% (the goal of implementing the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the term 2020 - 2025 is that by 2025, the rate of solid classrooms will reach 100%).

Many localities have mobilized funds to invest in school facilities. Lai Vu commune invested nearly 30 billion VND to build 20 classrooms, 1 multi-purpose building, a boarding house for the primary school and kindergarten. Kim Xuyen commune invested more than 23 billion VND to build 10 classrooms, 1 auxiliary building, and 1 multi-purpose building for the kindergarten and secondary school.

Currently, communes and towns in the district are continuing to build 30 classrooms, 3 multi-purpose buildings, 1 semi-boarding kitchen for schools, with a total cost of nearly 31 billion VND. These projects are expected to be completed in August 2023.

In the coming time, Kim Thanh district will continue to review and develop plans to invest in building school facilities in the area. The district strives to have 100% of classrooms in educational institutions solid by 2024.
