Nowadays, many people buy ornamental plants to play Tet, display outside the door, along the road, alley. However, some families have had their plants stolen by thieves.

A family's camera on Truong Chinh Street (Hai Duong City) recorded images of subjects taking advantage of the dark, deserted streets and alleys to pull over and take plants. They often choose beautiful, valuable potted plants to take. Large, heavy pots that cannot be lifted will be uprooted and taken away. There were cases where passersby, after seeing a beautiful potted plant and no one was nearby, turned back to take it.

People who leave potted plants outside their doors have unintentionally created conditions for thieves to steal the plants.

Leaving ornamental plants on the sidewalk or road is not recommended even if they are not stolen.
