The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has just requested the District People's Committee to urgently review, complete the dossier and prepare a submission to the Provincial People's Committee to approve the addition of the list of projects and works arising in the 2023 land use plan for implementation.
Projects and works proposed to be added to the 2023 land use plan must ensure the following conditions: They are projects and works that have been approved by the Provincial People's Council to reclaim land and allow the conversion of land use purposes for rice cultivation and protective forest land in previous Resolutions but have not exceeded the 3-year period. The list of projects and works proposed to be added to the land use plan has been approved and allowed by the Provincial People's Council in Resolution No. 56/NQ-HDND dated September 29, 2023 and is within the criteria, priority order and targets allocated by the province to the district level until 2030 and the implementation period 2021-2025 in Decision No. 108/QD-UBND dated January 17, 2023 and Decision No. 109/QD-UBND dated January 17, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee.
Projects and works that are not subject to the Provincial People's Council's approval to reclaim land and allow the conversion of rice-growing land use purposes must ensure legal conditions on investment, construction and other relevant conditions and be within the criteria, priority order and targets allocated by the province to the district level until 2030 and the implementation period 2021-2025. The deadline for submitting documents and reports to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment is before October 10, 2023 for synthesis and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
