Specifically, the four most popular destinations for Korean tourists are Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hoi An and Phu Quoc. This also clearly shows that Korean tourists are interested in traveling to the wonderful coastal cities and resort islands of Vietnam. Because these are all famous places with beautiful beaches, luxury resorts and many attractive tourist activities.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Lam, Country Director of Vietnam at Agoda, said that the appeal of Vietnam's beaches to international travelers is undeniable, as they cater to the travel trend of vibrant coastal towns and cities, beautiful stretches of white sand... From ancient Hoi An to tropical Phu Quoc Island, or energetic Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam offers a diverse picture of experiences that Korean travelers especially love. This is clearly illustrated by Agoda's travel data in the last quarter.

According to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, South Korea is still the largest market sending visitors to Vietnam in the first 3 months of 2024 with more than 1.2 million arrivals (up 10% over the same period in 2019). In particular, on the basis of Vietnam and South Korea upgrading their relationship to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2022, the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and the Korea Tourism Organization signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in promoting Vietnam - South Korea tourism for the period 2023-2024.
