From March 11, Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company (HARACO - Vietnam Railway Corporation - VNR) announced its plan to operate tourist trains for the April 30 - May 1 holiday and started selling tickets.
Specifically, for the Unified Train, in addition to the 4 regular train pairs: SE1/2, SE3/4, SE5/6, SE7/8, on April 28 and May 1-2, there will be an additional train pair SE11/12.

On the Hanoi - Da Nang route, HARACO regularly runs the SE19/20 train pair: April 28, train SE17 in Hanoi and May 2, train SE17 in Da Nang.
Hanoi - Dong Hoi route, in Hanoi on April 27 - 30, trains QB1, QB3 run; on April 28, QB5 run; and in Dong Hoi on May 1 - 3, trains QB2, QB4 run; on May 1, QB6 run.
Hanoi - Vinh route, in Hanoi, trains NA1/2 run regularly. On April 28 - May 3, train SE35 runs; on April 27 - April 30, train NA3 runs; on April 27 - April 29, train NA7 runs; on April 28 - 29, train NA9 runs. In Vinh, on April 30 - May 3, train SE36 runs; on May 1 - 3, trains NA4, NA14 runs; on May 1 - 3, train NA8 runs (On May 3, the train arrives at Giap Bat station, which is the end of the journey); on May 3, train NA12 runs.
Hanoi - Thanh Hoa route runs TH1 train in Hanoi from April 29 to 30; TH2 train from May 1 to 3.
Hanoi - Lao Cai route regularly runs train pair SP3/4; on April 28 - 29, train SP1 runs in Hanoi.
Hanoi - Hai Phong route, on April 29, run train LP9 in Hanoi; on May 3, run train LP10, HP4.
VNR will also open sales of passenger train tickets to serve people traveling from April 27 to May 3 during the April 30 - May 1 holiday and continue ticket discount policies after Tet. Specifically, it will open sales of 4 pairs of Thong Nhat trains running daily on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route including: SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8; and the SE21/SE22 train pair running daily on the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route.
Also during this time, VNR opened ticket sales for daily passenger trains such as: Train SNT1/SNT2 on the Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang route; Train SPT1/SPT2 on the Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet route. Particularly on the Ho Chi Minh City - Quy Nhon route, there will be an additional pair of trains SQN1/SQN2; train SQN2 departs from Saigon station on April 28, 29, 30, and May 2; train SQN1 departs from Quy Nhon station on April 29 and May 1, 2, and 3.
In the Northern region, VNR opened ticket sales for the NA1/NA2 passenger train pairs between Hanoi - Vinh; SE19/SE20 train pairs between Hanoi - Da Nang. Other routes still open ticket sales for the operating train pairs such as 1 pair of SP3/SP4 trains running daily between Hanoi - Lao Cai; 4 pairs of HP1/HP2, LP2/LP3, LP5/L6, LP7/L8 running daily between Hanoi - Hai Phong.
VNR is still applying ticket price promotion policies after Tet. Until March 31, 2023, the promotion "6,000 seats 30% discount" for all types of seats on trains. Passengers buy tickets 3 days or more in advance of the train with a specific number of carriages and seats, meaning that when passengers buy tickets for these fixed seats, they will receive a 30% discount on the ticket price. However, it only applies to tickets with long travel distances: Tickets for 2 pairs of trains SE3/SE4, SE7/SE8 must have a travel distance of 400 km or more (weekdays), 500 km or more (weekends). Tickets for pairs of trains SE21/SE22 have a travel distance of 400 km or more.
With double tickets for train SNT1/SNT2 with a travel distance of 250 km or more; double tickets for train SPT1/SPT2 with a travel distance of 150 km or more. In addition, discount programs apply when buying long-distance tickets, round-trip tickets, group tickets and discounts for social policy beneficiaries, students, union members, passengers with customer cards.
According to Tin Tuc Newspaper
