ABC news agency quoted a US official as saying that on the evening of April 18 local time (ie the morning of April 19 Hanoi time), Israeli missiles attacked a location in Iran.
Iran's Fars news agency also reported that a loud explosion was heard at an airport in the Iranian city of Isafahan, but the cause was not immediately clear. Several flights have been diverted from Iranian airspace.
