On the afternoon of March 28, the Veterans Association of Emulation Cluster No. 1 of Thanh Ha District (Hai Duong) organized the 2024 Veterans Singing Festival with the theme "Forever worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers". This is the last emulation cluster of the district to organize a veterans singing festival.
More than 200 actors and musicians who are veteran members in the district brought to the festival many special performances, praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, the Vietnam Veterans Association; praising the homeland and country; and praising the role of veterans in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Through 4 cluster festivals, the Organizing Committee has selected 12 performances to participate in the district-level festival, scheduled to be held in May.
Also on the afternoon of March 28, the Veterans Association of 6 communes in the emulation cluster No. 2 of Tu Ky district participated in the 2024 Veterans Singing Festival with the theme "Forever the military march". This is the first cluster-level festival of Tu Ky district.
The Veterans' Singing Festival is one of the activities towards the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024); the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans Association (December 6, 1989 - December 6, 2024) and to welcome the emulation congress of "exemplary veterans" at all levels for the period 2019-2024.
The festival aims to promote cultural and artistic movements, improve the lives and spirits of cadres and members.
