Hai Duong Province Veterans Association supports members in repairing houses

On December 11, the Veterans Association of Hai Duong province presented money to support house repairs "out of comradeship" to four poor veteran members: Pham Van Quy (in Ha Hai village, Ha Ky commune), Nguyen Van Xay (in Thuong Hai village, Binh Lang commune), Pham Thi Thu (in Trung Son village, Tai Son commune) and Dang Dinh Tam (in La Xa village, Dan Chu commune, both in Tu Ky district).

The provincial Veterans Association supported each family with 25 million VND. The support fund was contributed and supported by the cadres and veteran members in the province. During the house repair process, veteran members of the communes contributed labor days and supported the families with money and materials.

At the donation ceremony, the Party Committee, authorities, and organizations of the communes and villages all presented gifts to the families. Ms. Pham Thi Thu’s family received contributions from officials and members of the Tai Son Commune Veterans Association, and a savings book worth 22 million VND.

Previously, the Provincial Veterans Association also awarded 25 million VND to support the family of veteran Trinh Thi Nen (in Kinh Duong village, Hiep Cat commune, Nam Sach).
