This is the first year Gia Loc District Youth Union has coordinated to organize a program to exchange new helmets for old helmets.
After 3 days (November 17-19) of implementing the program "Wearing standard helmets for community safety and health", communes and towns of Gia Loc district have exchanged 500 new, standard helmets for people in exchange for old helmets.
Some communes with a large number of exchanges are Gia Luong, Yet Kieu... This is the first year that Gia Loc District Youth Union has coordinated to organize this program.
The program "Wearing standard helmets for community safety and health" is implemented by the Center for Project Management of Propaganda of Wearing Standard Helmets (Hanoi). Each commune and town in Gia Loc district organizes at least 1 point to carry out helmet exchange. For each helmet, people are supported with 50,000 VND.
This is an important activity to raise people's awareness of using standard helmets, contributing to ensuring safety when participating in traffic.
