Cancel the master plan for building the Huong River eco-tourism area, Thanh Ha district

The reason is that according to the opinion of the Ministry of Construction, the master plan for the construction of the Huong River eco-tourism area, Thanh Ha district, at a scale of 1/10,000 is not appropriate. After more than 7 years of approval of the master plan, the implementation of the lower-level planning has not been implemented. The master plan for the construction of the Huong River eco-tourism area, Thanh Ha district is not consistent with the adjustment of the construction planning of Thanh Ha district approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 2480/QD-UBND dated November 3, 2023 (regarding boundaries, scale, orientation, and nature of the planning).

The general planning project for the construction of the Huong River eco-tourism area was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 3687/QD-UBND dated December 12, 2016. The planning area is more than 863 hectares, the nature of which is an eco-tourism area. According to the Thanh Ha District People's Committee, after the general planning was approved, the implementation of lower-level construction planning (zoning planning, detailed planning), and construction investment projects encountered many difficulties and obstacles. Currently, within the planning scope, the Thanh Ha District People's Committee has only implemented the Huong River eco-tourism infrastructure project with 3 items: the reception point at the beginning of the route; the stopover point in the middle of the route and the reception point at the end of the route. Other areas have not been invested in and built, leading to difficulties in exploiting the potential advantages on both sides of the Huong River.
