Thanh Ha town invests in construction and renovation of cultural and historical works

In 2023, Thanh Ha town mobilized nearly 3 billion VND to build and renovate many cultural and historical works.

Of which, the project to renovate and repair the yard, surrounding wall, and drainage system of Minh Khanh Pagoda has been completed, with a total cost of about 1.7 billion VND (1.2 billion VND has been mobilized).

Ngu Doi Well is located in the Minh Khanh Pagoda relic complex with a total renovation cost of about 500 million VND (about 300 million VND has been mobilized), the project will be completed in December.

Ngu Dai Pagoda, a provincial relic, is also being rebuilt by Thanh Ha Town People's Committee with 5 new front rooms at a total cost of 1.2 billion VND (nearly 1 billion VND has been raised). This year, Tranh Pagoda's model house is also being rebuilt at a total cost of 350 million VND, entirely supported by the people and visitors.

On the 29th and 30th of the 10th lunar month, the Minh Khanh Pagoda Festival (Huong Dai Pagoda) will take place to commemorate King Tran Nhan Tong. This is a national historical and cultural relic. The Minh Khanh Pagoda Festival preserves many unique traditional features from the royal edict procession to the feast procession; the products offered to Buddha and Buddha King Tran Nhan Tong.
