Honda has just introduced the 2025 CB650R and CBR650R sports bikes in Malaysia with a powerful 649cc engine and advanced E-Clutch technology.
The 2025 Honda CB650R naked sport and 2025 Honda CBR650R sports models have officially arrived in Malaysia with prices of RM 47,999 (VND 269 million) and RM 49,999 (VND 281 million) respectively, excluding road tax, insurance and registration fees.
The 2025 CB650R is offered in three colour options in Malaysia, including Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Matte Laurel Green Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red.
Meanwhile, the CBR650R has two paint options: Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Metallic, inspired by Honda's racing line.
Both models use a 649cc, inline 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 93.8 horsepower at 12,000 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm.
A notable new feature is the 5-inch color TFT-LCD screen integrated with Honda Roadsync to connect to the driver's smartphone.
Notably, these are the first two models in Honda's portfolio to be equipped with E-Clutch technology. This technology eliminates the clutch lever, making gear shifting easier, suitable for both new and experienced drivers, while still allowing the driver to shift gears manually when needed.
The Honda CB650R and CBR650R both use full LED lighting. The CB650R weighs 207 kg, while the CBR650R weighs 211 kg, with the same seat height of 810 mm.
