To celebrate the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Provincial Veterans Business Association and the Ninh Giang District Veterans Association supported the construction of 2 "Comradely Love" houses for veterans.
On the morning of August 31, the Hai Duong Province Veteran Entrepreneurs Association awarded 30 million VND in support to veteran Vu Xuan Tai in Thuong Bi I village, Yet Kieu commune (Gia Loc) to repair and upgrade his house.
Mr. Tai is 80 years old this year, and his economic situation is very difficult. His house was built over 30 years ago and is seriously degraded.
With the support of relatives, neighbors and the community, Mr. Tai's family completed the house repair with a total cost of 80 million VND.
On the same afternoon, the Ninh Giang District Veterans Association presented 40 million VND, and the Ninh Giang District Fatherland Front Committee presented 10 million VND to support the family of veteran Tran Dang Phien, 70 years old, in An Cu village, Nghia An commune, to build a house.
Previously, relatives and neighbors helped Mr. Phien's family complete a new house worth 370 million VND.
