The last household in Kim Thanh agreed to receive compensation for the East-West axis road project.

On November 3, a representative of Kim Thanh district said that on November 2, Mr. Bui Van Tan's family in Ngu Phuc commune had signed a compensation plan and received support for site clearance of an area of ​​30 square meters (rural residential land) for Kim Thanh district to implement the East-West District Axis Road project.

This is also the last household in the three communes of Kim Anh, Ngu Phuc, and Kim Xuyen whose land area was recovered for site clearance to implement the above project to sign the compensation and support plan.

Previously, on October 20, Hai Duong newspaper reported "One household has not yet received compensation support for the East-West axis road project in Kim Thanh district", reflecting that Mr. Bui Van Tan's family has not yet agreed to the compensation support plan despite the authorities' repeated propaganda and mobilization.

In the coming time, Kim Thanh District People's Committee will direct relevant units to organize compensation support payments for people whose land area is recovered.

The East-West axis road project of Kim Thanh district, phase 1, has a length of 3.68 km, a total investment of 231.47 billion VND, and started construction in July 2022. Phase 1 of the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. To implement the project, Kim Thanh district has reclaimed 131,399 m² land in Kim Anh, Ngu Phuc and Kim Xuyen communes. Up to now, Kim Anh and Kim Xuyen communes have completed site clearance. Ngu Phuc commune alone has completed site clearance for agricultural land and more than 3,000 m2 of residential land of 15 households.
