As of May 16, the East-West axis road project through Thanh Mien district has completed about 60% of the work volume, ensuring the set progress.
The main contractor has basically completed loading phase 1 of the entire route and is proceeding with loading phase 2.
Currently, Hai Duong Embankment and Rural Development Construction Joint Stock Company (main contractor) has basically completed loading phase 1 of the entire route and is carrying out loading phase 2. Thanh Mien district has also completed land acquisition for the remaining 3 households to hand over the site to the construction unit to implement the project. Taking advantage of favorable weather, the contractor has requested 4 construction teams and dozens of workers to work continuously, without holidays, to speed up the progress. It is expected that the East-West axis road section through Thanh Mien district will be basically completed by the end of 2023.
The 36.5 km long East-West axis road of the province passes through Thanh Mien, Ninh Giang and Tu Ky districts. The section through Thanh Mien district was constructed first with a total length of 14.15 km.
The project is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and will be implemented in the period 2021 - 2024.
