Although the Compensation and Resettlement Support Council of Kim Thanh district (Hai Duong) and Ngu Phuc commune have repeatedly propagated and mobilized, Mr. Bui Van Tan's family has not yet received compensation.
According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Kim Thanh district, currently, the East-West axis road project of Kim Thanh district, phase 1 (from Kim Xuyen commune to Ngu Phuc), there is still a household of Mr. Bui Van Tan in Ngu Phuc commune who has not received compensation for site clearance of an area of 30 square meters (rural residential land) because he does not agree with the compensation plan.
Although the Compensation and Resettlement Support Council of Kim Thanh district and Ngu Phuc commune have repeatedly propagated and mobilized, and had three direct dialogues, Mr. Tan still has not agreed.
To ensure the progress of this project, the Kim Thanh District People's Committee has directed relevant units to continue to promote propaganda and mobilization so that Mr. Tan's family can clearly understand the State's regulations. In case Mr. Tan's family still does not agree with the compensation and support plan, the Kim Thanh District Compensation and Resettlement Support Council will advise the District People's Committee to carry out the procedures for compulsory land acquisition according to regulations.
The East-West axis road project of Kim Thanh district, phase 1, has a length of 3.68 km, a total investment of 231.47 billion VND, and started construction in July 2022. Phase 1 is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. To implement the project, Kim Thanh district has reclaimed 131,399 m2 land in Kim Anh, Ngu Phuc and Kim Xuyen communes. Up to now, Kim Anh and Kim Xuyen communes have completed site clearance. Ngu Phuc commune alone has completed site clearance of agricultural land and more than 3,000 m2 of residential land of 15 households. Currently, only Mr. Bui Van Tan's family has not received compensation or support.
