As of May 30, the East-West axis road project through Ninh Giang district has completed 40% of the volume.

Construction Joint Stock Company 201 is the main contractor renovating and upgrading Provincial Road 396. The main contractor, along with 3 joint contractors, has requested many construction teams and dozens of workers to work continuously to speed up the progress. It is expected that the East-West axis road through Ninh Giang district will be basically completed by April 2024.
Previously, Ninh Giang district completed land acquisition for 1,137 households to hand over the site to the construction unit to implement the project.
The 36.5 km long East-West axis of the province passes through Thanh Mien, Ninh Giang, and Tu Ky districts. The section passing through Ninh Giang district is 15.61 km long, passing through 8 communes: Van Hoi, Hung Long, Hong Phuc, Kien Quoc, Hong Phong, Hong Du, Dong Tam, and Vinh Hoa.
The Hai Duong Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is the investor of this project and it will be implemented in the period 2021-2024.
