The Hai Duong Provincial People's Council will consider the draft Resolution on Regulations on some expenditure levels for the dissemination and education of law; standards for legal access and mediation at the grassroots level in the province.
The Provincial People's Committee proposed to apply the maximum level prescribed in Circular No. 56/2023/TT-BTC with some contents. That is the cost of building and maintaining the activities of legal clubs, core groups at the commune level and 2 levels of cost for performing mediation work at the grassroots level (remuneration for mediators, support for the activities of mediation teams),
Accordingly, the expenditure to support the activities of the mediation team increased from 500,000 VND per team/year to 1.8 million VND per team/year, an increase of 3.6 times. Currently, the whole province has 1,149 mediation teams. Implementing the new expenditure level, the total budget for the activities of the mediation teams is more than 2 billion VND/year, an increase of nearly 1.5 billion VND/year compared to the present.
