After a unique wedding held in a cave in Quang Ninh appeared on social media, many tourists flocked to the cave to admire the amazing natural scenery “underground”.
Recently, a series of photos of a wedding between a Vietnamese groom and an American bride held in a unique cave in Quang Ninh unexpectedly went viral on social media. Immediately, this cave became a name that many tourists searched for, inviting each other to check-in because of its lively, picturesque space.
Accordingly, the check-in location that is attracting a lot of attention is Vung Duc Cave (also known as Vung Duc Cave Tourist Area), part of the Vung Duc Historical and Scenic Area complex (Cam Dong Ward, Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province), 45km northeast of Ha Long City.
Vung Duc Cave is located on the shore of Bai Tu Long Bay, surrounded by Ban Co Mountain range with beautiful natural scenery, attracting visitors.
Since the Ha Long - Cam Pha coastal road with a total length of 18.7km and 6 lanes was put into operation, it has been much more convenient for tourists to travel to Vung Duc cave, both by road and by sea.
Along this route, tourists have the opportunity to admire the unique landscape, one side is the mountain, the other side is the sea. When reaching the end of the road, the section adjacent to Ben Tau Street of Cam Pha City, tourists turn towards Vung Duc, travel about 1km more to reach the cave of the same name.
Vung Duc Cave consists of a system of 5 caves connected together, including Thien Dang Cave, Long Van Cave, Ngo Ngang Cave, Kim Quy Cave and the largest is Cung Dinh Cave (also known as Bat Cave).
The caves are distributed from low to high, some caves require visitors to climb hundreds of stone steps to reach the cave entrance.
Since 1999, this location has also invested in an elevator system, lighting, and cave entrance to create favorable conditions for tourists to visit and experience.

The first stop for visitors to Vung Duc cave tourist area is Thien Dang cave, 46m above sea level with 5 connecting cave entrances, of which 2 are the entrance and exit. In the middle of the cave there is a large and flat space with many vivid stalactites, on top of the cave is a hanging stone lantern.
To get here, visitors can go from the main entrance or along the mountainside. Inside the cave are hanging stone curtains, softly curving, especially the thick layer of silver stalactites, when the light shines in, it further enhances the shimmering, magical beauty of the cave.

The next stop is Long Van Cave, located at an altitude of about 50m above sea level. Inside the cave is divided into two branches, upper and lower. Inside the cave are rocks with diverse and interesting shapes, visitors can freely imagine many shapes such as elephants, swans, bells, lotus pedestals, etc.
In the middle of the cave is a large stalactite block, connecting the ceiling with the floor. This stalactite block has many motifs such as dragon heads, stone instruments and especially during the natural creation process, in the middle of the column there is a circle attached like a badge, giving the cave a beauty like a majestic palace.

Leaving Long Van cave, following the main road, visitors will reach Kim Quy cave and Ngo Ngang cave.
And at the end of this cave system is Cung Dinh cave, which has the largest area, is a grand event venue with a capacity of up to 1,000 people. Here, visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy delicious dishes made from famous seafood of Quang Ninh sea.
The entrance fee to Vung Duc cave tourist area (including 5 caves) is 120,000 VND/person (for adults and children over 1.4m tall) and 60,000 VND/person (for children from 1 - 1.4m tall).
