The Provincial People's Committee reviewed and submitted to the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council for approval to reclaim 374.8 hectares of land to implement 92 projects and works in Hai Duong. At the same time, it allowed to change the purpose of use of 138.21 hectares of rice-growing land to implement 58 projects.
On the afternoon of April 5, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province continued to hold the April meeting (2nd time). Comrade Luu Van Ban, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. The meeting reviewed and discussed the contents and reports of the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Transport, and Industry and Trade.
At the meeting, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider and submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval the recovery of 374.8 hectares of land to implement 92 projects and works in the province. At the same time, it allowed the conversion of the purpose of use of 138.21 hectares of rice-growing land to implement 58 projects.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment also proposed adjusting the land use targets in districts, cities and towns to ensure compliance with national allocation targets. By 2025, security land will be adjusted from 394 hectares to 484 hectares. Industrial park land by 2030 will be 5,661 hectares. Industrial cluster land by 2030 will be 2,947 hectares, an increase of 1,473 hectares compared to 2020. Commercial service land will be added for 2 freight transit projects at Cao Xa station (Cam Giang) and inland waterway port in Hong Phuc commune (Ninh Giang). Land for infrastructure development at all levels by 2025 will be 26,639 hectares, an increase of 2,193 hectares; by 2030 it will be 32,054 hectares, an increase of 7,608 hectares compared to the current status in 2020.
Concluding the content of the review of land recovery and conversion of land use purposes to implement additional projects and works in 2024, Mr. Luu Van Ban, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, basically agreed with the report of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Localities continue to compile and review projects and works for the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to synthesize for the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council in the upcoming session. No later than April 15, the units must complete the review. The area of recovered land is prioritized to serve urgent projects and works, serving local socio-economic development.
Regarding the adjustment of indicators for some types of land, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban requested agencies and units to coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to review and assess land use needs to ensure efficiency and rationality.
