Hai Duong identifies 4 targets for preventing drug resistance

Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan to implement the national strategy on drug resistance prevention in the province for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Accordingly, by 2030, the Provincial People's Committee has set 4 goals with 11 targets to slow down the progression of drug resistance and prevent and control the spread of drug-resistant microorganisms and infectious diseases, contributing to protecting, caring for and improving human and animal health.

The four objectives include raising awareness among local authorities, understanding among health workers, veterinarians and the public about antibiotic resistance prevention. Participating in the antibiotic resistance surveillance system to promptly warn about the emergence, spread, level and trend of antibiotic resistance in microorganisms. Reducing the spread of microorganisms and infectious diseases. Using antimicrobial drugs in humans and animals rationally, safely and responsibly.

Along with 4 goals, the Provincial People's Committee set 11 specific targets to implement drug resistance prevention. Among them, some important targets are that by 2030, the rate of adults who understand drug resistance correctly will reach 60%, at least 2 hospitals in the province will participate in the national drug resistance system, 70% of provincial hospitals will set targets and implement plans to control the level of drug resistance of common pathogenic bacteria in hospitals...
