Hai Duong is implementing 17 social housing projects in Hai Duong city, Chi Linh and Cam Giang district.
Hai Duong is implementing 17 social housing projects with a total expected number of 5,860 apartments. Of these, 3 projects have been assigned to investors, 14 projects have not been assigned to investors, and are completing procedures and preparing to implement investment in the 2024-2025 period.
Of the 14 projects that have not been assigned to investors, 3 projects are stuck in construction planning, 2 projects have not yet handed over social housing land funds, 1 project is facing difficulties in investment procedures, 2 projects are behind schedule, and the remaining projects are being implemented according to procedures and processes.
In 2021, Hai Duong has 1 completed social housing project, which is the Nhi Chau ward housing area with 619 apartments. Currently, there is 1 project under construction in the field, which is social housing in the new urban area south of Hai Duong city with 336 apartments, expected to be put into use before June 30, 2025.
Hai Duong aims to build at least 10,919 social housing units by 2030.
