On the morning of December 22, at the Eastern Cultural Center, the Provincial People's Committee summarized and awarded the 13th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest (2022-2023).
Comrades: Nguyen Khac Toan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest; Nguyen Xuan Tien, Director of the Vietnam Creativity Support Fund attended.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung affirmed that many solutions in this year's competition are new and creative, gradually approaching the 4.0 industrial revolution and bringing high economic efficiency. The winning technical solutions continue to affirm the great potential for scientific and technical creativity of workers. The authors of the winning solutions are diverse, affirming that the competition is increasingly spreading strongly.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also pointed out some limitations of the contest. That is, the contest results have not yet reflected the creative potential of the people of the Eastern region. Solutions in the fields of mechanical automation, education and training, medicine and pharmacy, information technology, electronics and telecommunications are still few; the fields of environmental resources, materials, chemicals, energy, security and defense are almost non-existent. Enterprises are places with many initiatives and technical solutions but have not paid much attention to the contest...
In order for the contest to become a widespread mass movement, promoting scientific research activities, technological innovation, and application of technical advances in production and life, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Organizing Committee of the contest to continue to innovate the organization method, improve the quality and effectiveness of the contest. Focus on the effectiveness of research topics, especially the need to closely follow the key tasks and bottlenecks in the socio-economic development of the locality to propose breakthrough solutions with high feasibility. The Provincial People's Committee will continue to accompany, create the best environment, issue many better mechanisms and policies to develop the emulation movement for scientific and technical innovation and promote the application of solutions and initiatives in production and social life.
Agencies, units, enterprises and schools need to closely coordinate with the Organizing Committee to propagate, guide and encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to actively participate in the contest; promptly encourage, reward and honor individuals with scientific research, topics and solutions.
The Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations - the standing agency of the contest, needs to actively and proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee on effective ways to launch and organize the contest, suitable to local realities to achieve higher efficiency. Research and innovate methods of propaganda and direct mobilization to the grassroots, units and individuals with potential to attract more authors to participate.
All levels, sectors and units must pay real attention to science and technology activities and technical innovation, considering this an effective investment direction for development, building a creative labor movement of the people to promote socio-economic development in the locality. Relevant departments and sectors advise the Provincial People's Committee to have a form of honor and worthy rewards for authors who have won awards at the provincial and national levels, and at the same time select valuable solutions to submit to the province for investment in science and technology projects to be deployed widely in practical life and production.
