Hai Duong launches high-level emulation campaign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

According to the plan recently issued by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, the emulation campaign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory in Hai Duong province has the theme "Strongly promoting the spirit of Dien Bien Phu Victory in the cause of building and developing the economy - society, national defense - security in Hai Duong province more and more sustainably".

The Provincial People's Committee requested agencies, units and localities to carry out the emulation campaign well, create a vibrant atmosphere, and achieve many achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

The Provincial People's Committee requests agencies, units and localities to strive to complete political goals and tasks in 2024; determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term. Promote activities of "repaying gratitude", "remembering the source of water when drinking" and social security work. Register and deploy practical, specific and meaningful works and tasks to help war invalids, martyrs' families, policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution and social security activities. Organize activities to honor and interact with historical witnesses; introduce typical examples of heroes of the People's Armed Forces who heroically sacrificed to create the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

At the end of the emulation period, agencies, units and localities will summarize, evaluate and commend outstanding and typical collectives and individuals. The emulation period will be carried out from March 10 to May 10.
