Hai Duong strives for all farmer members to have health insurance every year.

The Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has just issued an Action Program to implement Resolution No. 46-NQ/TW dated December 20, 2023 of the Politburo on innovating and improving the quality of activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Union to meet the requirements of revolutionary tasks in the new period.

The action program clearly states the general goal of innovating and improving the quality of the farmers' movement, building strong and effective farmers' associations at all levels in Hai Duong province. At the same time, the farmers' associations play a good role in representing and encouraging farmers to actively participate in developing ecological agriculture, modern rural areas, and civilized farmers.

The specific objectives of the Program are to annually admit 3,200 or more new farmer members; 100% of full-time farmer association officials at all levels and branch heads of farmer associations to receive knowledge training; provide vocational training for 6,000 or more farmer members and rural workers; and improve the qualifications of 800 excellent farmers and good farmers in production and business at district level or higher.

Hai Duong strives to mobilize 7,200 or more farmer members to join cooperatives and establish 17 new cooperatives in the agricultural sector, 3 agricultural cooperatives... Notably, Hai Duong will strive to annually support at least 1,600 farmer households to have accounts on e-commerce platforms, 100% of farmer members to participate in health insurance, and 800 or more farmer members to participate in voluntary social insurance.

To achieve these goals, there are 7 key groups of tasks and solutions. In particular, focusing on innovating propaganda, mobilization, gathering, and uniting farmers, improving the effectiveness of the farmers' movement; consolidating and perfecting the organizational apparatus, building a team of cadres with sufficient qualities and capacity to meet the requirements of the tasks...

The Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee requires Party committees and organizations at all levels to be responsible for disseminating, propagating, and implementing according to the functions, tasks, and situations of the industry, locality, and unit, and to organize a preliminary review, evaluation, and experience drawing every 6 months and 1 year. The Organizing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee presides over and coordinates research, proposes the staffing, regimes, and policies for farmers' association officials according to the requirements of the Central Government and in accordance with the reality of the province.
