Hai Duong is one of 19 provinces and cities nationwide chosen by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to organize the "Humanitarian Tet" program in the spring of Giap Thin 2024.
On January 19, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province deployed a plan to organize the "Charity Tet" program in the spring of Giap Thin 2024.
Hai Duong is one of 19 provinces and cities nationwide chosen by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to organize the above program.
The program will start at 8:00 a.m. on January 27 (December 17) at the Dong Xu Cultural Center (Ton Duc Thang Street, Hai Tan Ward, Hai Duong City).
The "Humanitarian Tet" in the spring of Giap Thin 2024 in Hai Duong is expected to present 1,200 gifts to poor and near-poor households and workers in especially difficult circumstances. Of which, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province will coordinate with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to directly present gifts to 500 beneficiaries (each gift worth 1.5 million VND including gifts and cash).
The remaining 700 gifts were given to the Provincial Red Cross Society in coordination with the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and the Provincial Labor Federation to organize the presentation.
Along with the gift giving, the program also has 7-10 booths - "Humanitarian Tet Market". Each person is given a market voucher to choose free products and goods. Poor people and workers in difficult circumstances who attend the program will also get free haircuts and calligraphy.
In the Spring of Giap Thin 2024, the Red Cross Association at all levels in Hai Duong strives to mobilize 19,000 gifts (80% of the gifts are worth 500,000 VND/gift or more, the remaining are at least 200,000 VND) to give to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households...
