The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has issued an urgent construction order to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3 for a number of works in the health, culture and education sectors with a budget of over 39.1 billion VND.

Many schools in the province were damaged, had their roofs blown off... affecting the teaching and learning of teachers and students.

Items that need to be repaired include: the waiting area for medical examination, the emergency room, offices, electrical systems, roofs... of the hospital; classrooms, roofs, the principal's office, parking lots... of the school; some cultural works such as the Provincial Library, the Provincial Cultural and Artistic Center, the Con Son - Kiep Bac special national relic site...

The Provincial People's Committee requested that repairs be carried out quickly to ensure that works and items soon return to operation, without interrupting emergency care and treatment for people, student learning, and teacher teaching...

Implementation time in 2024, funding from provincial budget.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Committee to immediately arrange capital for implementation. The Department of Construction shall preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, agencies and units to guide, inspect, supervise and implement the project according to regulations.
