Hai Duong cancels auction results for exploitation rights in Dai Bo hill area

The reason is based on the request of An Binh 62 Joint Stock Company to refuse to implement the project and the minutes of agreement to cancel the auction results between the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, An Binh 62 Joint Stock Company, and the Auction Service Center of Hai Duong province. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to be responsible for continuing to carry out the procedures to re-organize the auction of the soil and stone mines for common construction materials in the Dai Bo hill area in accordance with regulations.

Previously, on July 25, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1492/QD-UBND on recognizing the results of the auction of the right to exploit minerals from soil and stone mines for common construction materials in the Dai Bo hill area. An Binh 62 Joint Stock Company is the winning bidder. The winning price for raw materials for artificial sand production is R1=35.95%; for filling materials, R2=107.85%.

On December 5, 2023, An Binh 62 Joint Stock Company sent an official dispatch to refuse to implement the project of exploiting soil and stone mines for common construction materials in Dai Bo hill area on the grounds that the project did not achieve the desired results.

In mid-December 2023, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment held a meeting with the Property Auction Service Center and An Binh 62 Joint Stock Company to agree on the contents related to the request to cancel the auction results. Accordingly, An Binh 62 Joint Stock Company will not be refunded the deposit before canceling the auction results and will not have any complaints.
