On February 21, the Provincial People's Committee approved the plan to auction mineral exploitation rights in the province, phase 1, 2023.
Accordingly, there are 5 areas of minerals used for common construction materials in Chi Linh City that are auctioned for exploitation rights. Of which, 2 areas have had mineral exploration results, including the Hang Ho hill mine in Hoang Tien ward and Ong Sao hill mine in Hoang Tan ward, Ben Tam.
There are 3 areas that have not had mineral exploration results, including the quarry for raw materials to produce artificial sand in Dai Bo hill, Hoang Tan ward and Bac An commune; the quarry at Trai Tuong mountain in Pha Lai ward; the quarry for raw materials to produce bricks and tiles in Trai Met and Trai Quan hills in Ben Tam ward.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over and advise the Provincial People's Committee to establish an auction council to organize the auction of mineral exploitation rights. The implementation time is in 2023. In case any area has not yet carried out the auction of mineral exploitation rights in 2023, it will be transferred to the auction of mineral exploitation rights in the following years...
