The People's Council of Hai Duong province has just decided to adjust the investment policy of the Project to Renovate and Upgrade Local Dykes in the period of 2021-2025. Accordingly, the province will reduce nearly 10.6 billion VND in investment capital for renovating and upgrading dykes.
The Provincial People's Council decided to adjust the investment scale of the project to complete the cross-section and reinforce the left-hand dike of the Thai Binh River from K53+450-K56+987 through Thanh Ha district. Specifically, the width of the dike surface was reduced from 9 m to 6 m, the reinforcement width from 7 m to 5 m, and the 1 m wide shoulder on each side was reduced to 0.5 m. The total investment of the project was adjusted down from 150 billion VND to more than 139.4 billion VND.
