Urgently complete the project to urgently handle dike works in Hai Duong province

The Project for Urgent Treatment of Dyke Works in Hai Duong Province consists of 9 items, including 2 items for repairing and completing the dike cross-section and 7 items for constructing culverts. Construction units are urgently completing the works to ensure quality and progress.

The Project on Urgent Treatment of Dyke Works in Hai Duong Province has a total budget of 90 billion VND from the central budget, invested by the Hai Duong Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board. The project repairs and expands a number of dikes and culverts in the districts of Kim Thanh, Nam Sach, Thanh Ha, Tu Ky, Ninh Giang and Hai Duong City.

In 2022, two projects to repair and expand the dike surface, the left dike of Luoc River in Ninh Giang District and the right dike of Thai Binh in Tu Ky District, have been completed. There are currently 7 culvert projects expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024. The project ensures the set schedule.

Ngoc Tri sluice gate in Cong Hoa commune (Nam Sach) has been under construction since December 2023. After completion, the sluice gate will lead Lai Vu river water to serve irrigation for Dong Lac, Cong Hoa, An Lam, An Binh communes (Nam Sach).

The old Thuong Do and Thuong Vu (Kim Thanh) sluice gate was built a long time ago and no longer meets irrigation needs. The sluice gate was constructed in December 2023. After completion, the sluice gate will serve irrigation for more than 100 hectares of rice and vegetables in Thuong Vu commune.

*Workers are plastering the roof of Thuong Do culvert. Currently, the culvert project has reached 96% of the work volume.*

An Lao culvert, An Thanh commune (Tu Ky) has an investment of more than 6 billion VND. The culvert will provide irrigation water for 150 hectares of cultivated and rice growing areas of An Thanh commune. The culvert has completed 90% of the construction volume. This project is expected to be completed in July 2024.
