Gia Loc and Nam Sach districts lead the province in opening bank accounts and making cashless payments to people eligible for social benefits, reaching a rate of more than 73%, but there are still some districts that have only reached more than 22%.
Despite many difficulties in implementing social security benefits through accounts, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs actively coordinated with the Provincial Police and banks to launch a peak period to support the establishment of social security payment accounts in January and February. The heads of some localities resolutely took action, directing officials in charge of labor, war invalids and social affairs and banks to make efforts to quickly complete procedures for account payments to beneficiaries.
By the end of 2023, the rate of social security benefits paid through Hai Duong's accounts will only reach 12.8%.
