Nearly 83% of Gia Loc's meritorious people receive benefits through bank accounts.

According to the Gia Loc District People's Committee, during the recent peak period of reviewing, supporting account opening and social security payment, the whole district had more than 2,200 meritorious people and relatives of meritorious people with revolutionary contributions receiving allowances through bank accounts, accounting for nearly 83% of the number of meritorious people and relatives receiving monthly payments in the whole district.

Gia Loc is one of the localities that has done well in supporting the opening of accounts and paying social security for the province's meritorious people. Many communes such as Doan Thuong, Thong Nhat, Quang Minh, Tan Tien... have paid allowances to nearly 100% of the meritorious people through bank accounts.

Gia Loc has done a good job of propaganda and mobilization so that beneficiaries clearly understand the benefits of this form of payment. The officers in charge of labor, war invalids and social affairs coordinate with bank officers and police forces to review and support quick and convenient account opening...

In addition to meritorious people and their relatives, Gia Loc currently has more than 6,000 people under social protection receiving benefits through bank accounts, accounting for more than 60%.
