Responding to Vietnam Law Day, Hai Duong province calls on every citizen to spread the spirit of respect for the law through specific and practical actions.
On the morning of November 8, at the Eastern Cultural Center, the Hai Duong Provincial Legal Education and Dissemination Coordination Council held a ceremony to respond to Vietnam Law Day (November 9) and award prizes for the 2024 Online Law Learning Contest.
Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of departments, branches, localities; representatives of armed forces, and youth union members attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Council for Legal Education and Dissemination, requested all levels and sectors to continue to focus on and innovate legal dissemination work with the motto that people are the center and the subject. Promote the proactive, positive role, self-awareness, and exemplary responsibility of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the work of organizing law enforcement must be directed towards the grassroots, promoting the people's mastery, listening to the people's voices, putting the people's interests first according to the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit". Special attention must be paid to vulnerable groups and those with difficulties in accessing the law...
Responding to Vietnam Law Day, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung suggested that each citizen join hands to spread the spirit of respect for the law, contributing to making the Constitution and law truly permeate into consciousness and action through specific and practical actions.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the results and awarded the 2024 Online Law Competition in Hai Duong province (phase 1) to 16 individuals and 4 groups.
The first prize went to the Department of Education and Training of the province. The Thanh Mien District Legal Education Coordination Council won the second prize. The Chi Linh City and Kim Thanh District Legal Education Coordination Council won the third prize.
For individuals, Mac Quang Minh, a 9th grade student at Phuc Thanh Secondary School (Kim Thanh) won first prize.
Ms. Vu Thi Phuong in Hoang Tuong village, Tan Trao commune, teacher at Thanh Mien district Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center and student Vu Tran Thanh Thuy, grade 12E student at Thanh Mien 3 High School both won second prize.

This is the fourth year Hai Duong province has organized an online law contest. The second round of the contest will start from November 9 to December 9 with the theme of learning about the law on consumer rights protection.
On this occasion, 4 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of digitizing civil status data; 2 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of building, organizing the implementation and dissemination of legal education were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
