Hai Duong is immersed in cold weather, the lowest temperature is 12 degrees

According to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from February 24 to 25, cold air will continue to operate strongly combined with high-altitude westerly winds, causing the Hai Duong area to be immersed in cold weather with the lowest temperature of 12 degrees Celsius, the highest of 16 degrees Celsius, cloudy skies, rain, light rain, northeast winds level 2 - 3.

The above weather pattern will last at least until February 26 when the cold air stabilizes and gradually weakens.

In the remaining days of February, Hai Duong area continues to be cold with the lowest temperature from 15 - 16 degrees Celsius, with scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms at night and in the morning. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

By early March, the cold air continued to weaken, the high-altitude wind convergence gradually weakened, the low pressure area in the west tended to develop and gradually expand to the southeast, the weather in Hai Duong area was cloudy, with rain in some places, the afternoon and evening clouds decreased and the weather was sunny, the night and early morning were cold.

Severe cold can have negative effects on human health, crops and livestock. Rainy days, light rain affects outdoor activities and reduces visibility when participating in traffic. Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds can break trees, damage houses, traffic works, infrastructure and can affect human lives.
