Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee has deployed a plan to eradicate rats to protect production in 2025.

During the year, Hai Duong will organize 8 concentrated rat extermination campaigns: Phase 1 from the time of dumping, land preparation to winter-spring rice planting (from about January 15 to February 5, 2025); phase 2 from the time of winter-spring rice tillering (early March); phase 3 from the time of winter-spring rice standing, forming panicles to the beginning of flowering (April); phase 4 from land preparation to winter-spring rice planting (from about the end of June to the beginning of July); phase 5 from the time of winter-spring rice tillering (early August); phase 6 from the time of winter-spring rice standing, forming panicles to the beginning of flowering (from the end of August to mid-September); phase 7 from the time of land preparation for winter crops (October) and phase 8 from the time of winter crops nearing harvest (December).
