The Hanoi Department of Health requested the Director of the Netherlands Trade and Development Company and Bac Ha International General Hospital to completely recall the batch of Hepasyzin soft capsules (Korea) that did not meet quality standards.
Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Health Nguyen Dinh Hung has just signed an official dispatch announcing the recall of a batch of Hepasyzin soft capsules manufactured in Korea in Hanoi. The reason for the recall is that the batch of drugs did not meet the quality requirements regarding quantitative indicators (level 2 violation).
The recalled Hepasyzin soft capsule has registration number: VN-22078-19, batch number: 2114; manufacturing date: April 14, 2021, expiry date: April 14, 2024. This product is imported by DongBang Future Tech & Life Co., Ltd. (Korea), Ha Lan Trading and Development Joint Stock Company (address in Hanoi).
According to the advertisement, the main ingredients of Hepasyzin are Cardus marianus extract, Thiamin nitrate, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, Nicotinamide used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, and liver toxicity.
Previously, on October 14, the Department of Drug Administration (Ministry of Health) issued document No. 10344 announcing that the Hepasyzin drug sample did not meet quality standards.
The Hanoi Department of Health requested the Director of the Netherlands Trade and Development Company and Bac Ha International General Hospital to completely recall the batch of drugs that do not meet quality standards mentioned above in Hanoi.
This Department will inspect and supervise the recall of the above batch of drugs by the units and the sending of additional samples for quality testing by Ha Lan Trading and Development Joint Stock Company.
Public health facilities under the sector, non-public health facilities, drug trading enterprises, and drug retail establishments in the area must urgently review and recall the batches of drugs that do not meet the above quality standards. The Hanoi Department of Health requests the Health Department of districts, towns, and cities to notify the medical facilities in the area under their management, conduct inspections, and supervise the implementation of the recall by the facility (if any).
