Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police Nguyen Duc Dung appointed Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee

On July 22, Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the personnel work process to elect Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Chin, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, announced the official dispatch of the Central Party Office informing the opinion of the Central Party Committee's Secretariat: "Agree to introduce Major General Nguyen Duc Dung, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police to be elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term".

As a result, 100% of the Provincial Party Committee members present voted to elect Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung was born in 1967; hometown is Pho Van commune, Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province; degree from People's Security University, Advanced political theory.

Before being elected as Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung held many positions in the police force such as: Deputy Head of the Investigation Security Department; Deputy Head of Nong Son District Police; Head of the Foreign Security Department of Quang Nam Provincial Police; Head of the Staff Department and Spokesperson of Quang Nam Provincial Police; Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police; Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police.

In February 2020, Colonel Nguyen Duc Dung was promoted from Colonel to Major General.
