Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, requested Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels to thoroughly resolve petitions, complaints, especially those related to personnel for the upcoming congresses at all levels.
On the morning of July 10, the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) held an online conference to review the inspection and supervision work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2024. Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the CIC chaired the conference.
Comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference at the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee bridge.
Comrade Vu Hong Hien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and leaders, members of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission; members of the Inspection Commissions of District Party Committees, Town Party Committees, City Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee attended the conference.
According to the report of the Central Inspection Commission, in the first 6 months of the year, the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels regularly paid attention to leading, directing and implementing inspection and supervision work; the institution on inspection, supervision and party discipline work continued to be improved, creating favorable conditions for the Inspection Commissions at all levels to effectively carry out tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter.
Specifically, Party committees at all levels inspected 18,476 Party organizations and 107,165 Party members on the implementation of Party resolutions, directives, regulations, and conclusions; leadership and direction of the implementation of Party congress resolutions at all levels... Through inspection, it was concluded that 631 Party organizations and 1,767 Party members violated and had shortcomings (1 Party organization and 65 Party members were disciplined). Party committees at all levels inspected 131 Party organizations and 922 Party members when there were signs of violations (26 Party organizations and 497 Party members were disciplined).
Inspection committees at all levels inspected 804 party organizations and 2,850 party members when there were signs of violations (disciplinary action was taken against 60 party organizations and 910 party members). At the same time, regular and specialized supervision was conducted on 8,733 party organizations and 12,890 party members; through supervision, it was concluded that 635 party organizations and more than 551 party members had violations and shortcomings...
At the conference, representatives of party organizations and Party Inspection Committees at all levels discussed and clarified outstanding results, lessons learned, and made recommendations and proposals to the Central Party Inspection Committee on implementing inspection, supervision and party discipline work in the coming time.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, requested Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels, especially leaders, to continue to raise awareness, responsibility, and be proactive and determined in leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of inspection, supervision, and discipline enforcement work of the Party; proactively advise, coordinate, and ensure the quality and timely implementation of tasks assigned by the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, Party committees at all levels, and steering committees at all levels on corruption prevention and control.
At the same time, continue to comprehensively and effectively carry out tasks as prescribed in the Party Charter. Effectively organize and complete inspection and supervision programs in 2024 and Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Resolutely resolve petitions and complaints, especially those related to the personnel of congresses at all levels in the next term. Inspect, supervise and urge the overcoming of shortcomings and limitations of Party committees, lower-level Party organizations and Party members according to the notices and conclusions of inspection and supervision by Party committees and higher-level Inspection Commissions. Well implement the work of building the Party inspection sector, focusing on building a team of inspection cadres at all levels, meeting the requirements of the Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement tasks.
In Hai Duong, in the first 6 months of the year, provincial Party Committees inspected 946 Party members and 582 Party organizations; conducted thematic supervision of 564 Party members and 263 Party organizations; and disciplined 272 Party members and 4 Party organizations. Inspection Committees at all levels inspected 35 Party members and 8 Party organizations for signs of violations. Through inspection, it was concluded that Party organizations and Party members all committed violations, to the extent that 11 Party members had to be disciplined.
Currently, the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee is conducting two inspections when there are signs of violations.
