VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023

Among the 11,000 athletes participating in the tournament, there are more than 300 foreign athletes.

On August 13, the VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023 took place in the beautiful coastal city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province with the participation of more than 11,000 athletes from many provinces and cities in the country and internationally.

Among more than 11,000 athletes, there are more than 300 foreign athletes, 2 international-class athletes, and nearly 400 athletes from Khanh Hoa.

After more than 4 hours of competition, the athletes completed the challenge of the VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023.

The race brought dramatic sporting experiences along with the excitement of participants and a large number of fans cheering along the race track.

Shelmit Muriuki from Kenya finished first in the women's 42km race, successfully defending her title in this distance. Despite facing harsh weather conditions, Shelmit Muriuki still successfully completed the difficult race, proving her perseverance and determination.

The tournament witnessed an interesting surprise when Japanese male athlete Hiroki Nakajima, a name that was rarely mentioned before the tournament, excellently won the full marathon championship at VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023 with a distance of 42 km for men.

At the 21km distance, the name Do Quoc Luat once again made a strong mark in the history of this race. Do Quoc Luat overcame all difficulties and challenges on the race track and with his relentless passion, he won the 21km distance at the 5th VnExpress Marathon.

This is truly an encouraging and inspiring achievement for the running community. With a variety of distances and starting points, the race has brought exciting challenges to the athletes.

The race took them through beautiful and famous places in Nha Trang such as Hon Chong, Observatory and Tran Phu Sea Park. In particular, climbing Luong Son Pass was a real challenge, requiring patience and constant effort.

VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023 is not only a sporting event but also has a meaning for the community and tourism development. The combination of sports and humanitarian spirit is demonstrated through the CSR program "VM sharing - Donating items" implemented by the Organizing Committee in coordination with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society.

VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023, has distances of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km.

Previously, on August 12, the Kun Marathon children's race took place with the participation of 2,000 children from 6 to 10 years old. They conquered a route of about 1 km with some interesting challenges and obstacles along the way.

VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023 ended with memorable images, emotions and achievements. The large participation of domestic and foreign athletes created a meaningful sports festival and encouraged the Vietnamese sports spirit. The tournament is not only a race on the track but also an opportunity to demonstrate determination, the ability to overcome oneself and team spirit.
